Background: UTI is a condition where bacteria grow and multiply in the urinary tract. Women are at higher risk of getting UTI because anatomically the female urethra is shorter than that of men.
Objective: To determine the factors that influence the incidence of UTI in pregnant women at Panembahan Senopati Bantul Regional Hospital in 2023.
Research Method: Descriptive analytical retrospective approach. The sample used a total sampling of 90 pregnant women with UTI. Secondary data type, the analysis used Univariate Analysis.
Results: The results of the study showed that the age of pregnant women experiencing UTI was the highest at 20-35 years (75.6%), pregnant women experiencing UTI the highest in TM III (80.0%), pregnant women experiencing UTI the highest in high school/vocational school (57.8%), pregnant women who experienced UTI the highest were working mothers (61.1%), pregnant women who experienced UTI the highest (65.6%) pregnant women did not have a previous history of UTI.
Conclusion: The results of the study showed that most pregnant women experiencing UTI were working. The results of the study showed that the gestational age of pregnant women with UTI was Trimester III.
