REMAJA SEHAT DAN BERDAYA: UPAYA PENCEGAHAN ANEMIA DAN KEK MELALUI POLA MAKAN SEIMBANG DI SMP NEGERI 3 SEWON

Anemia and chronic energy deficiency (KEK) are common nutritional problems experienced by adolescents in Indonesia, especially among teenage girls. These issues are caused by an imbalanced diet, lack of awareness about nutrition, and unhealthy eating habits. Through health education, this study aims to increase the knowledge of students at SMP Negeri 3 Sewon regarding the importance of consuming a balanced diet to prevent anemia and KEK. The activity method includes education and a Q&A discussion led by a single speaker. The media used is a PowerPoint presentation. The target audience for this community service activity is 30 students of SMP Negeri 3 Sewon. The event was held at SMP Negeri 3 Sewon, Jl. Bantul No. KM. 6, RW. 7, Kaliputih, Pendowoharjo, Kec. Sewon, Kab. Bantul, D. I. Yogyakarta. The results show a significant increase in students' understanding of balanced diets and the steps to prevent anemia and KEK. The participants were very enthusiastic about the event, as evidenced by the numerous questions asked and their ability to answer questions accurately. The students also responded to the material by sharing experiences and consulting about balanced nutrition. The speaker's explanation was very helpful in helping the students grasp the topics discussed. Overall, this activity provided great benefits for the school and the adolescents, contributing to the creation of a successful generation
