Background: The barber johnson chart is used as a tool to see the degree of efficiency in the use of beds in one
unit or between units at a certain time.
Objective: This study aims to analyze the efficiency and factors causing the use of beds in Wates Hospital using
a barber johnson chart.
Methods: Descriptive research with a qualitative quantitative data collection approach. Collecting data by
interview, observation and documentation study.
Results: The manufacture and processing of SHRI in Wates Hospital in a computerized manner. The presentation
of inpatient statistical data at Wates Hospital uses tables, the presentation in the Barber Johnson Graph has not
been carried out routinely and continuously. The results of Barber Johnson's chart analysis show that the use of
beds in Wates Hospital is still not efficient.
Conclusion: The use of beds in Wates Hospital in 2018-2021 still has not reached the efficiency area and is
caused by the addition of beds at low BOR and computers that sometimes error to network disturbances.
