Gambaran Penyimpanan dan Pendistribusian Vaksin Imunisasi Dasar Lengkap (IDL) Di Puskesmas Tanjungsari, Gunungkidul

Abstract

Background: Primary health care plays a crucial role in implementing the Complete Basic Immunization (CBI)
program. The storage and distribution of vaccines in Puskesmas are essential factors in achieving the success of
the CBI program. Therefore, maintaining the standards for vaccine storage is necessary to protect the quality of
the vaccines to be used.
Objective: This study aims to determine the storage and distribution of Complete Basic Immunization (CBI)
vaccines in Tanjungsari Primary Health Care, Gunungkidul Regency.
Method: This study is a descriptive observational research using a survey design. The research was conducted
in Tanjungsari Primary Health Care, Gunungkidul Regency. The subjects of this study were the Complete Basic
Immunization (CBI) vaccines. Data were obtained using total sampling technique from October to December
2022. The research instrument was a checklist adapted from the Vaccine Management Guidelines in Health
Care Facilities 2021. The data were analyzed descriptively and presented in tabula r form..
Result: The results showed that the storage of CBI vaccines in Tanjungsari Primary Health Care, Gunungkidul
Regency, was categorized as good. The vaccine storage was 88.89% compliant with the guidelines, the facilities
and infrastructure were 76.47% compliant with the guidelines, and the condition of the refrigerators was
88.33% compliant with the guidelines. The distribution of vaccines obtained a percentage score of 81.25%
Conclusion: The storage and distribution system of CBI vaccines in Tanjungsari Primary Health Care,
Gunungkidul Regency, has an average rating of 84.56% (good), as well as the distribution with 81.25% (good) .
