Abstract

Background: Errors in storing medicines at the Community Health Center can cause the medicines to
become damaged so that the level or potency of the medicine decreases.
Objective: To find out what the drug storage system and BMHP are at the Bantul I Community Health Center.
Method: Descriptive observational research and evaluation. Collecting data by observation, interviews.
Results: The percentage of drug storage methods and BMHP was 88.8% in the very good category,
the percentage of spatial arrangement was 88.8% in the very good category and stock card recording
was 100%. The assessment of drug storage efficiency at the Bantul I Community Health Center is
based on four indicators, namely dead stock, expired drugs, ending stock of drugs and TOR. Bantul I
Community Health Center has drug storage efficiency that does not comply with the indicators of
dead stock, expired drugs and ending stock and has drug storage efficiency that is appropriate for the TOR.
Conclusion: The suitability of the drug storage system at the Bantul I Community Health Center
based on the checklist parameters is in the very good category. Meanwhile, storage efficiency still
needs to be re-evaluated.
