Analisis Kesiapan Pelaksanaan Rekam Medis Elektronik di Puskesmas Kasihan II Bantul

Abstract

Background: Implementation of Electronic Medical Records (RME) is useful for improving the quality of health
services so as to achieve optimal public health. However, to implement RME there are many challenges.
Kasihan II Bantul Public Health Center is one of the health service facilities that is required to use RME but has
not implemented RME in full.
Objective: To find out the factors that influence the readiness to implement RME at the Kasihan II Bantul Public
Health Center.
Methods: This research is a descriptive qualitative research with the subjects of 6 RME user officers, the object
of RME implementation readiness.
Results: Factors that influence the readiness to implement RME at the Kasihan II Bantul Public Health Center
are the human factor, the lack of officers with a medical records background, the machine factor, the lack of
hardware for implementing RME, the material factor related to the availability of a system that does not meet
user needs, the money factor related to the budget. has not been realized, as well as method factors that do not
yet have policy documents and Standard Operational Procedures (SPO).
Conclusion: There are man, machine, material, money and method factors that influence the readiness to
implement RME at the Kasihan II Bantul Public Health Center. There is a need for monitoring and evaluation
of the implementation of RME.
