Edukasi Kesehatan Mental Pada Ibu Dalam Upaya Pencegahan Stunting Di Dusun Kayen Desa Sendangsari

Abstract

The role of maternal mental health is important in determining the growth and development of children in the present and future, however, mental health problems are still unresolved health problem in society, both at the global and national levels, so increasing knowledge about mental health among mothers is an effort Prevention of stunting is very important. The activity was carried out as a presentation of material about mental health for mothers using an LCD projector and PowerPoint, then continued with discussions and demonstrations. The activity was carried out among 20 women from Kayen Hamlet, Sendangsari Village, Kapanewon Pajangan. The evaluation plan for community service activities consists of evaluating the presenter, the implementation of the activity, and the results of education/knowledge. Questionnaires are used to carry out evaluations. Education about mental health for mothers through discussions and demonstrations is effective in increasing mothers' knowledge, so education needs to be carried out to target other mothers who have children under five.
