This community service aimed to optimize the role of Posyandu (integrated health post) in supporting the implementation of integrated Antenatal Care (ANC) in Kalurahan Bangunharjo. The activity was conducted on June 11, 2025, and involved pregnant women and several Posyandu cadres. The method used was health education with interactive presentations, group discussions, quizzes, and the distribution of educational posters. The material focused on the importance of performing ANC at least six times during pregnancy, as well as the "10 T" components that must be fulfilled during each visit. Results showed that two pregnant women had never received information about the necessity of regular ANC visits. Others had attended ANC visits but were unaware of the completeness of the service components. During informal discussions, some mothers mentioned that they usually visited private midwives but were unaware whether the examinations matched the 10 T standard.
Evaluation through pretest and posttest showed a significant increase in knowledge among both pregnant women and cadres. The average score increased from 79.8 to 100. The activity also succeeded in strengthening the role of cadres in community-based ANC services. The provision of educational posters and interactive learning methods helped reinforce participant understanding. This community engagement demonstrated that Posyandu has strategic potential as a front-line support system for ANC services, provided that cadres are given
adequate knowledge and tools. Continued education and support are needed to maintain improvements in ANC implementation.
